God has called New Community to be “reconciled to be reconcilers”.

Experiencing God Through Communal Prayer

This week, we heard from brothers and sisters about their experiences participating in Communal Prayer Gatherings. Listen to their stories and plan to attend a weekly gathering or the upcoming Prayer Walk!

There are 3 steps to get started:
1. Select your Intentional Prayer times: http://bit.ly/livingprayerfully
2. Plan to attend the Communal Prayer gatherings (schedule below).  Use this link to join the Zoom meeting for any of the Communal Prayer Gatherings: bit.ly/newcomprayer.

Love Our Chicago Neighbors During COVID-19
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact the city of Chicago and its residents differently, we at New Community are committed to loving our neighbors by asking ourselves this question: “How might God be inviting us to demonstrate Christ’s love to our Chicago neighbors?” We’ve identified several specific groups of people that we want to invite our congregation to come around this season.

Check out these ways you can Love Your Chicago Neighbor!

Bless and Be Blessed Initiative
This initiative responds to the impact of COVID-19 by establishing a system for resource sharing for NewCom and beyond. Please take a few moments to complete this questionnaire to let us know both how you can support others and how you are hoping to be supported.

Giving
Family, it is your generous giving to the finances of our church that helps NewCom continue to do the work of God in our city.  Remember that you are able to give your tithes and offerings online as well as contribute to the COVID-19 Benevolence Fund.
