New Community is committed to 'Be COVID Safe' by following our city & state guidelines.
In-person Kid City classes and childcare will hopefully start in Fall 2021, but children are welcome to attend in-person service with their parents. The Fellowship Hall is set up as a family-friendly space to watch the livestream of the service with toys and activities available for the kids. If there is space, families are welcome to start off the service in the sanctuary for worship, and then they will be dismissed to the Fellowship Hall for the remainder of service.
For June-August, Kid City Sunday Zooms will be offered on the second and fourth Sundays of the month. These virtual gatherings are great opportunities for kids to engage in dynamic biblical teaching and deepen their connection and community with fellow NewCom kids. We hope you can join us!
Our church is located in the Logan Square neighborhood just a block north of W. Logan Blvd. We encourage you to arrive a little early to give yourself enough time to find parking.2649 N. Francisco Ave. Parking Map
Our Sunday morning worship services are designed to allow a diverse array of people from various walks of life, in different stages of their faith, to come together to worship the One who unites us: Jesus Christ. Each worship gathering begins when you’re greeted at the doors of the church and continues in the sanctuary through a time of vibrant worship through song, culminating in a Gospel-focused message. Come dressed casually, open to hearing from God, and ready to respond in worship!
Whether you have been walking with God for a long time, are curious about Jesus Christ and have never entered a relationship with Him, or have walked away from church–wherever you are in your journey–we hope you will find a safe place at New Community to encounter the gospel of Christ and learn what it means to be in relationship with Him.
We have reserved parking on W. Logan Blvd, designated with orange cones between N. Francisco Ave. and Sacramento Ave. Parking is also available on W. Schubert Ave., Sacramento Ave. and W. Diversey Ave. within approximately 2 blocks of our church.
