Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:37-39
Kid City is a multi-ethnic & intergenerational discipleship community that seeks to reflect God’s Kingdom by encountering Jesus, learning about the Gospel, cultivating a sense of belonging, and experiencing God’s heart for justice and reconciliation in our world.
Children join their families in the sanctuary at the start of service and are dismissed after the worship set for Kid City. Toddlers (1-3 years old) are welcome in the Toddler (Yellow) Room at the start of service. Parents are welcome to walk their children (4 years old – 5th grade) up to the Kid City classroom during dismissal.
Student Ministry Service Sunday (Every 5th Sunday of the Month) – Student ministries at NewCom deeply values and is committed to equipping and leading our children and youth towards a holistic relationship with God, others, the world, and self. We value creating tangible and intentional opportunities for our children and youth to experience God and to participate in leadership. Every fifth Sunday, both children and youth participate in a service project to serve and love our neighbors.
