Welcome to New Community! We are a diverse community of Christ followers who have joined together with a common mission:

We seek to be a “city within a city” (an alternate Chicago) that passionately loves Jesus CHRIST, intentionally engages in authentic COMMUNITY, radically advances the CAUSE of Jesus.

Our desire is that you would encounter the Gospel of Christ in word and deed through our church, be connected in real, life-giving relationships, and equipped to do God’s work in the world.

Service Time

Sunday Worship each week starts at 10:00 AM.  Join us in the Fellowship Hall every Sunday right after church for refreshments and a time to meet and connect with our church family.

Directions & Parking

Our church is located in the Logan Square neighborhood just a block north of Logan Blvd. We have reserved parking, designated with orange cones, on Logan Blvd between Mozart and Sacramento to provide more spots for people to park. We recommend that you arrive a little early to make sure you can find a place to park.

Families & Children’s Ministry

We offer ministry to children (ages infants to 12-years-old) during our 10:00 AM worship service. Find out more about what our Children’s Ministry offers on our Children’s & Youth Ministry page.  If it is your first time visiting our church, please arrive early to check your children in to Kid City, our children’s program.

What to Expect

Our Sunday morning worship services are designed to allow a diverse array of people from various walks of life, in different stages of their faith, to come together to worship the One who unites us: Jesus Christ. Each worship gathering begins when you’re greeted at the doors of the church and continues in the sanctuary through a time of vibrant worship through song, culminating in a Gospel-focused message. Come dressed casually, open to hearing from God, and ready to respond in worship! Whether you have been walking with God for a long time, are curious about Jesus Christ and have never entered a relationship with Him, or have walked away from church–wherever you are in your journey–we hope you will find a safe place at New Community to encounter the gospel of Christ and learn what it means to be in relationship with Him.

Engage the Mission

  • Attend a Church Event – Move beyond the Sunday Service and get to know people.
  • Join a Small Group – Small groups are where spiritual growth happens in the context of authentic community.
  • Serve in a Ministry – Whether it’s a one-time event or a regular commitment to one of our ministry teams, serving provides an opportunity to live out our faith, proclaiming the Gospel through our actions.
  • Give – Giving financially to the church is a biblical way to support the ministries of our church and allow New Community to continue its work in the city.
  • Become a Ministry Partner (member).

We want to hear from you! Please complete this form (below) and take the first step in Engaging the Mission.
