About Us
Kid City is offered at the 10:00am Sunday Worship service and officially opens at 9:50 am.
Kid City is the Children’s Ministry of New Community, committed to helping children begin a journey with Christ, that is cultivated in an atmosphere of authentic Community and empowers them to be used by God to radically advance the Cause of Jesus.
We are committed to placing the value on children that Jesus does. This is far more than babysitting. We are impacting a generation so that they influence others through the work God does in their lives.
Kid City Groups
Infants/Toddlers
Infants and toddlers are cared for by trained adults who love children. We believe that even the youngest child is entitled to experiencing Jesus, therefore the team works to leave God impressions on each child.
3 Years and Older
Game Zones, live Praise and Worship, Interactive Bible Experiences, and loads more are what characterizes Kid City Kids Church! Our aim is to connect kids to Jesus by helping them see His relevance for their lives!
As we obtain additional kid-safe spaces, we will create additional age groupings.
Parent Information
Kid City is designed to provide a creative, fun and safe environment for children: The Kid City team is constantly growing numerically, skillfully and spiritually in order to produce the best ministry environment for children.
Arrival Time
Kid City officially opens at 9:50 am. Check – in time will close by no later than 9:15am. Please make sure children are present and checked in early.
Check-in Procedure
Each week parents receive ID Tag Numbers which correspond to the Numbered label placed on their child. The ID Tag Number is used during worship as a point of contact in the event that the Children’s Ministry Team needs to connect with parents/guardians during Kids Church – numbers are projected on the screen in adult worship services. The ID Tag is also used during pick up time to keep children safe by placing them into the hands of the proper adult.
Safety/Security
Kid City only allows adults who have been adequately screened to serve in Children’s Ministry. All team members who have direct contact with children have undergone a background check and can be identified by photo identification.
Pick-up Procedure
Directly following adult worship, please return promptly to Kid City to pick up children. Be sure to have your ID Tag and be prepared to wait outside of the door so that the Kid City Team can bring your child to you at the entry door.
Parent Access
In order to keep children safe, we only allow screened members of the children’s ministry team to enter our ministry spaces. Exceptions are made for parents of young children who at times may need to enter. Please connect with the Kid City team and receive a Parent Badge.
