Connections Team

Mission of the Ministry:

The Connections Ministry seeks to provide opportunities in our church for people to
connect, meet, and begin to build relationships with each other. We want every single
person in our church, regardless if you’ve been here once or for years, to feel like New
Community can be their family and the people in the church their Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

How can I get involved?

If you enjoy planning events, are administrative minded, or are outgoing and love to meet people, we invite you to join the team! Here are some ways you can be a part of the team and what we are looking for:

Leader

  • A leader to oversee this new ministry initiative
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good at overseeing volunteers
  • Committed to the Mission and Vision of NC3
  • Vision-minded who could give some direction to this new initiative

Volunteers

  • Enjoys planning events
  • Committed to the Mission and Vision of NC3
  • Willingness to help where needed

There are no set requirements in terms of time commitment. We would love to be able to provide events for the whole church, married couples, families, singles, women, men, etc. If you like to plan events or could even help with the follow through of an event than we would love to have you! There really isn’t any particular skills or giftings that are needed to serve in this ministry. Just a willingness to help where needed and on an as needed basis.
